Avery has been watching my every move when I sit down to eat. It's like she can't wait to put food in her mouth. My ever so helpful baby book says this is a sign that she is ready to try "real" food. And by "real" food, they mean rice cereal of course. Which in my mind is nothing more than a substance to thicken the milk she's already eating, but whatevs. We gave it a shot and she seemed to like it...however, she pushes it out with her tongue which makes me think she's not really ready. So take that baby book!
Also, and I know Aunt Sheri will appreciate this, we made our first trek of fall to the plant nursery down the street. Maybe my plants I bought last year died. Don't judge, I'm trying again. Plus it was a great reason to dress Avery super cute in her little sun hat!
