Rob told me a few nights ago that he needed an adventure. God was listening. I am rocking Avery to sleep as usual and I hear "scratch scratch, thump thump" Okay it's really windy must just be something blowing against the side of the house. I hear it again. Right next to Avery's crib. I listen to it a couple more times put Avery down in her crib and run downstairs to tell Rob of the GIGANTIC animal I know is living in our wall. Rob comes up and tip toes in the room as to not wake Avery up. Nothing. Rob doesn't believe me. I persuade him to be patient and listen. There we are, one on each side of Avery's crib with our ears pressed to the wall, trying to be as quiet as possible as not to wake the baby. I wish I had had a camera. If Avery had woken up she sure would have disowned us for being the most creepy parents ever. Finally Rob hears it. It sounds like 50 mice running through the wall. We go outside to see if something is brushing against the siding, nothing. Rob, being the outstanding man/husband he is, grabs a flashlight, ladder and his trusty wooden baseball bat and heads into the attic. I yell up after him, "Here's your adventure!" He comes back down minutes later...no animal. He tells me to just go to bed as it is approaching midnight and we'll deal with it in the morning. I get in bed and lay there...listening....picturing a ginormous animal gnawing through the drywall and getting into Avery's crib. I can't sleep. I went and got Avery's pack n play and set it up in the office and she slept there, when she woke up she was looking at me like "Mom, where the heck am I?"
After all that, no animal yet to be found, or even heard from again. So I'm concluding one of three things. 1. the animal found its way out. 2. it really was just the wind. 3. God gave Rob the adventure that he needed.
Onto the raspberries, at least I think that's what it is called when you make that buzzing sound with your lips. That or a zerbert...which I don't even know how to spell. Anyways, I finally, finally caught Avery doing this. She makes me laugh so hard.

That is so cute! Did you teach this to her or did she just start it herself?
