Sorry everyone! I didn't realize that it has almost been a month since I let all of you in on our adventures. Let me think, what has happened since March??
Avery is now 10 months old and hitting all her milestones like a champ! She's speaking a language only babies understand, but complete sentences none the less. Her actual words consist of ba (ball), dah (dog) and da da (dad). You see where mom falls in her priority of things. I think she's just waiting until she can say Mother before she refers to me. She knows I have high expectations.
She's also pulling up on everything. She's still very unstable and cries a lot because once she gets up, most of the time, she can't figure out how to get back down. No worries though, corners are guarded with this lovely attractive foam. Anyone want to invest in my inventing attractive safety baby items?
We visit the Dr. yesterday because Avery's had a fever since Saturday. It was ranging from 100-101 and a fever for 3 days can't be good. Turns out, nothing's wrong. Maybe a virus. But the fever was gone this morning so whatever it was hopefully bit the dust. But, while we were in the exam room waiting on the Dr., we could hear a child, probably 2 or so, screaming at the top of his lungs. Avery in all of her sympathy, starts laughing. She apparently thinks other people's pain is funny. We'll work on that.
One life change we're getting ready to face, that you all should probably be aware of, Rob is moving to Massachusetts for 6 months for a work assignment. That's right, Avery, Tyson and I will be holding down the fort here from July-Dec. I am looking for a roommate to help offset Rob's living expenses while in MA so if you know of anyone pass them my way please. Now I bid adieu with this adorable photo of my monster.
